Silly Monkeys

November 7th, 2010
Today Alex found a random fruit snack on/under/near the couch, and popped it in his mouth. Once he realized Alyssa had seen, he took what was left out of his mouth and offered it to her, saying "I share". Luckily I was witnessing this and stopped the transaction just in time. What a sweet boy though.

Alyssa was mad at Alex after he refused to do what she wanted, so with angry eyebrows she said "Fine! Don't something, something! Monkey-head!" It was so funny. I have to take the blame for all of it (except for the words I couldn't decipher).

Conversation between me and Alex on the drive home from work.
Alex: Mom, I want to see Lukey.
Me: No tonight.
Alex: Mom, I want to see Gracie.
Me: Not tonight.
Alex: Mom, I want to see baby Pooker (Cooper)
Me: Not tonight.
Alex: Mom, I want to see Santa.
Me: Who?
Alex: Santa
Me: Do you mean Sandy?
Alex: Yes, I want to see Sandy.

Alyssa's version of Patty Cake:
Maddie Cake, Maddie Cake, Bakers man, bake me a cake as fast as you can, roll-it, roll-it, mark it with a B and throw it in the oven for Maddie and me. I can not convince her that it isn't Maddie Cake (she has a cousin baby Maddie cakes).
